ACCOMMODATIONS

Tree Houses

These are not your typical treehouses. :) Vertical cypress, salvaged from the squaring of old cypress logs, exterior with picture windows on all side greet you as cross the 250 ft. rope bridge over Lake Juneau. The three - 25 ft. x 25 ft. (525 sf each) treehouses suites are built around mighty oaks, cypress and tupelo gum trees literally over the swamp waters of Lake Juneau. After crossing the rope bridge and entering the pristine swamp at treetop level you enter each of the individually appointed luxury treehouses but not before you enter your own private 4 ft. x 10 ft. screened porch. Each has it's own unique finishes with custom molding, wood floors and exquisitely furnished units. Just a sample of the design is the master bedroom that has a built in king size bed draped with a black jack vine dome and the most impressive slipper tub anywhere....as it is hand carved from a cypress tree cut just 500 feet down in the swamp. And the "stump" wasn't wasted either as that too was hand carved to make the bathroom sink. The fourth 525 sf treehouses acts as an outdoor kitchen and club house with fire pit, hot tub and even your own LSU pool table. One of the most wonderful living experiences available anywhere.

The kitchen is fully adorned with custom cypress cabinetry, antique sinks and all modern appliances except for the beautifully restored 1930 Chambers gas stove. The home sits atop a 60 ft. x 30 ft. covered stage and performance theater area with wood dance floor, outdoor projection screen and "night club" style booth and balcony seating 50 people. There is also a full downstairs serving kitchen and two - 4 stall bathrooms to service the theater. The home is connected by a rope and cable bridge 50 feet away over Lake Juneau to a 12 ft. x 16 ft. elevated deck 16 feet over the water also housing a 2 stall boat dock below. There is even a 300 foot zip line crossing over the lake! The rope bridge continues for another 200 feet across Lake Juneau to join with the guest treehouses.
