Company Background and Culture
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Mark Twain's quote reflects the sense of freedom and adventure we like our guests to experience at Lake Juneau Safari Resort. Our mission is to promote growth and expansion of consciousness through diverse fellowship within an enjoyable and ecologically sustainable environment.

Our core business values are to offer an amazing experience to our guest while providing an opportunity to learn about exotic animals and birds in a natural environment. Over 60 species of exotic animals and over 40 species of birds roam freely in a beautiful, lush environment in the Louisiana swampland. Our resort is completely run on solar energy and is committed to minimizing our carbon footprint on the planet.
